Supervisory Inspector General for Investigative Audits

This Investigative Audit Unit (IAU) utilizes audit techniques and skills to examine programs and operations in Information Technology, School Operations, Business and Finance, Facilities Services, and special projects such as the School Police, Charter Schools, and Special Education. The IAU also examines contracts relative to various State-wide activities in procurement and construction. The IAU conducts its investigations in alignment with the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards.

The Supervisory Inspector General for Investigative Audits is a direct report to the Deputy Inspector General. The Deputy Inspector General serves as the strategic thinker and subject matter expert in investigative audits and related issues within the OIGE. The Deputy Inspector General oversees auditors engaged in examining local school system programs, operations and contracts relative to various State-wide activities.
