Confidentiality

Information reported to the Office of the Inspector General for Education is confidential. Identifying information and personal papers or correspondence from any person reporting information to the Inspector General, shall not be disclosed unless otherwise required by law or court order.

Pursuant to Maryland Code, Education Article § 9.10-104 (g): all records or information provided to, prepared for, or obtained by the Inspector General in connection with an investigation are confidential and not subject to disclosure under the Public Information Act.
